The Second EELA Grid School (EGRIS-2) builds on the successful experience of the previous edition and aims to create the necessary environment in Latin America for the porting of new applications to the EELA Grid Infrastructure. To fulfill this goal the EGRIS-2 program, based both on lectures and hands-on practices, will cover in-depth the main topics of Grid technology as well as the EGEE/EELA middleware.

The target audience consist of researchers both from EELA and non-EELA partners, technical industries, research laboratories, and academic universes. In order to maximize the impact and effectiveness, the number of applications to be ported will be limited to 8-10.

> About the applications:

•  All application candidatures must be submitted to the Selection Board of the School by a group of at most four persons before the 15 th of June 2007.

•  Only one application per team can be submitted.

•  Each application team should fill the questionnaire available on the web at the URL http://www.eu-eela.org/eela_application_questionnaire.php, describing the application they want to port on the EELA e-Infrastructure. In the space for comments at the end of the questionnaire the sentence "Application for EGRIS-2" must be written otherwise the questionnaire will not be considered for the school.

•  In addition, at least one recommendation letter per application should be provided and sent to egris2@eu-eela.org.

>Vaccines

People coming to Venezuela should have the following vaccines up to date: measles-rubella bivalent and yellow fever (bivalente rubeola-sarampión y fiebre amarilla).
